With a degree in Translation, a Master\u2019s in Communication, and a background in International Journalism, I am an Angolan writer, translator, cultural producer, and speaker.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

I created the first podcast dedicated to Black people of African descent in Portugal, R\u00e1dio Afrolis<\/a>, awarded by the Google News Initiative 2022, and founded Afrolis – Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Cultural, two platforms dedicated to the narratives of black people living in Lisbon. I am the author of the lecture \u201cSer Mulher Negra em Lisboa\u201d<\/a> presented at Tedxlisboa 2015. I organized and co-authored the poetry collection Djidiu a Heran\u00e7a do Ouvido – Doze formas mais uma de se falar da experi\u00eancia negra em Lisboa<\/em> (2018). I was also the author of the radio soap opera It takes a Village<\/i><\/a> (2018), produced by German radio station Deutsche Welle, where I worked for five years and trained in international journalism. I am the official translator in Portugal of Amanda Gorman’s The Hill We Climbed, The Song of Change and What We Carry In Us. Author of the children’s book An Unexpected Visit (2022). I directed the documentary N\u00f3s N\u00e3o Viemos do Vazio<\/i> <\/a> (2024).<\/span><\/p>\n

All my productions and participation in professional projects have revealed to me the importance of looking at reality multiple times and reconsidering it through different lenses and formats. It is in this exercise that I find ways to recognize authenticity and empathy in human interactions. My enthusiasm and curiosity for human potential expands with each new approach and it is this perspective that I aspire to share through my work.<\/p>\n
