With a bachelor\u2019s degree in Translation, a master\u2019s degree in Communication, and a degree in International Journalism, I am Angolan, a communicator, writer, and speaker.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

I launched the first podcast dedicated to Black people of African descent in Portugal, R\u00e1dio Afrolis<\/a>,<\/span>, which won an award from the Google News Initiative in 2022. I am the author of the talk \u201cBeing a Black Woman in Lisbon<\/a>\u201d, presented at TEDxLisboa 2015. I organized and co-authored the poetry anthology “Djidiu: The Legacy of the Ear\u2014Twelve Plus One Ways to Talk About the Black Experience in Lisbon”<\/em>\u00a0(2018). I wrote the radio drama “It Takes a Village”<\/a>\u00a0(2018), produced by the German radio station Deutsche Welle, where I worked for five years and completed a training program in International Journalism. I am the official translator in Portugal of Amanda Gorman\u2019s works The Hill We Climb<\/em>, Change S<\/em>ings, and Calls Us What We Carry.<\/em> The children\u2019s books Uma Visita Inesperada<\/em> (2022) and E Tudo Mudou<\/em> 2025) were my first projects for young readers. In 2024, I premiered the documentary N\u00f3s N\u00e3o Viemos do Vazio<\/em><\/a> (2024).<\/p>\n

All my productions and participation in professional projects have revealed to me the importance of looking at reality multiple times and reconsidering it through different lenses and formats. It is in this exercise that I find ways to recognize authenticity and empathy in human interactions. My enthusiasm and curiosity for human potential expands with each new approach and it is this perspective that I aspire to share through my work.<\/p>\n
